Just released v1.1 of my blood and gore plugin that goes hand in hand with Bravercoolio's "Improvements in Gore" mod.

v1.4 just released. Brings back the more extreme hits and blood. Also further testing out new ways of causing the appearance of deformation of the flesh in and around the wounds; a.k.a "shockwave" damage. Enjoy
