Choose speed of game time

Personally I think the time in the game runs too fast. You can get some really beautiful lighting in the game from sunsets, sunrises etc, but they only last a minute or so due to the speed of the game time (I think it's 1 hour for every real world minute).
Surely it would be quite easy to choose the speed of the game, would it? You could change it run in real world time, or double time, or treble, or whatever. Doesn't really make sense, when you walk a short distance and almost a full day turns over lol.
