There's just one thing i noticed with the real aircraft door...

@SkylineGTRFreak - I was hoping that it would've been ready by Friday, as the wife is away for the weekend! Lol.
However..., 'Beggar's can't be choosers!' as the saying goes, so I don't mind waitingAlso, i was wondering whether it is possible to have a permanent 'observer' pilot in the back seat?
I don't mean for the observer to have animation, as a static model would suffice... (just a thought i had)
Will the helicopter be an addon or replacement?
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the end result and if it's possible to have a working turret, would be a dream come true!

@mmpaw44 He can have the pilot sit anywhere. Also, he can have multiple seats in there. But a static observer would be relatively easy. He would just have to add a pilot model to the mod. And it would be an add-on, that way the turret would rotate.

Thing is, i have these ideas but don't want to place any more work for him...i am eternally grateful for him doing the helicopter in the first place! - Although it would make it look better in my opinion.One question i have is; Will the textures be the same set out as the ones i provided...?

@mmpaw44 The textures should be the same, except for some in the cockpit, which, if I remember correctly, will use the stock GTA ones, which allows for an actual glass cockpit with functional instruments so to speak.

That's good to know as i've been working on some textures; However until i have the model i'm reluctant to proceed with any further texturing...I could do a lot of work for nothing! - But rest assured, as soon as i have the mod then i'll be straight on it!

Have you any updates relating to the Blue Thunder Helicopter mod...? - Are things going to plan and smoothly...?One of my latest thoughts was the actual paint 'finish' of the model - Is it possible for you to make the airframe the matt colour that the real aircraft has?
Most of the heli's in GTAV have a glossy finish to the paint, so if it could be either matt or a sort of satin finish that would be great!Many thanks in advance!

@SkylineGTRFreak - Just one other thing...
I've been modifying the 3d model making a few tweaks here and there:
Firstly, when i rotated the top rotor blades, i noticed the angle was slightly off and the middle housing holding the blades wasn't centralised...I have rectified these issues.Secondly, i've noticed that when Blue Thunder is on the ground, the front gun/turret points upwards at an angle - Which i have rectified.
I'm just making you aware of these if you've not noticed/fixed these slight issues - So if you decide to rectify these then it's fine, however i could send you the updated model without the textures...it's up to you but if you've already been working on the models i gave you then it's fine

eh, I got it pretty much down now... Problem: I'd have to remodel the front section to make an openable doors, something which I don't feel atm to be honest. So either I will release this without openable door now or you will have to wait longer...
On the bright side, the second seat can be occupied by a bodyguard (or ped in general)

I am well pleased about this as it's everything i wanted, apart from the door issue but i'm not too bothered about that.
Of course, the textures supplied wasn't from my personal work, they came with the model and obviously when i receive the mod, i can get to work on the re-texturing to make it much better and high quality!I love the way the gun works as well, and i could use this in the LSPDFR Police mod, which makes it even more special!!!
Anyway, thanks for your help in contacting @SkylineGTRFreak, without that this would'nt have been possible...THX!

@mmpaw44 It has been uploaded at gta5-mods.com and should be abailable in +/- 5 hours. Oh and I left the model unlocked, so it can be edited with ZModeler 3.

I use LSPDFR and with that is Air Support, so i'll be using Blue Thunder to help my fellow officers!I'll let you know as soon as i have the mod

I've got a problem and i'm not sure why...
I've placed it in my mods folder exactly as described (By the way, i have had/have many mods including Add-ons and they are working).Thing is, i'm receiving an error message ERR_STR_FAILURE_3 and the game closes
Any advice would be appreciated!

@mmpaw44 I had the same problem with a different mod. The game config fixed it. So it should work. So just to be clear, the game quits before it finishes loading, right?

...Nice to talk!Even though i am absolutely loving the 'Blue Thunder' helicopter you converted and modified for me and the community, i was wondering if you would be so kind as to add a few details which are lights...???
Below are some image links which explains in detail what i mean.
When flying at night, the model can become hard to see properly with the default lighting, so i was wondering if you could add the lighting as shown in the provided images which i took from the movie.I literally have no idea how to do this so you are my only hope to be honest!
What would be sufficient is that the lighting only comes on when a certain time in the evening as does the other lights - Secondly, if it can be possible to turn them off separately from the other lights that would be a lot better...but i don't personally know if this can be done.
Anyway, if you would please help me and add this finishing touch, i would be ecstatic!!!
