Building rpfs?

Downloaded a mod that requires an rpf being assembled. Is there a tutorial somewhere that details how to do this? I searched but didn't find anything.
Already attempted once but the vehicle failed to spawn with an invalid model message or some such.

OpenIV can create empty/editable rpf. Is something like this that you need?

@Yankshuru I can get as far as creating the folder and the dlc.rpf but after that I am at a loss.

Easiest way would be to find a mod that is similar & edit it's files to suit your need (much less work than building from scratch).
What is the mod you need to create the '.rpf' for? I'm presuming just an add-on vehicle? For that, just use any other complete add-on (ie with dlc.rpf & files) & change the data/names etc.
If the mod is a bit more complicated, find a mod that offers all the same functionality & entities (props, vehicles, peds etc) as in that case all the vital .meta/.xml files will be written out already for you & all you'll have to do is remove sections you don't use & edit slightly the parts you do.
