Need help reducing raindrop "ripple" effect on water and puddles

Hi guys

After installing many mods Im very happy with my weather, but the ripple effect raindrops now have on water is too extreme.

So I wonder what settings/actions I need to do to reduce this effect?

visualsettings.dat:

...\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\visualsettings.dat

& then lower this value:

puddles.ripples.ripplestrength	0.7

Somewhere around 0.3 is probably what you want.

Use these values:

puddles.ripples.minsize
puddles.ripples.maxsize

to control the size of the circle ripples if required.

I can confirm hat those settings had effect on ripples from raindrops, but since my game is modded, there was other settings in the same file that also had effect:

puddles.ripples.windstrength
puddles.ripples.ripplestrength
puddles.ripples.winddamping
puddles.ripples.playerspeed

I have no idea what setting that is most important, but all this settings together had a big effect.
