decrypt a ymap file

hi, my question may be weird but I would like to know how to decrypt a ymap file, I have 2 files with coordinates on the map (from another server for the cannabis harvest) and I would like to know if there is a possibility to decrypt the file to get the coordinates please thank you

Open it with OpenIV, and copy the text. Or just export it, also from OpenIV, to xml file.

In OpenIV have the ymap selected, press right mouse button, choose extract to OpenFormats/XML, choose save location and voila you can edit the ymap.xml in Notepad
You can easily drag it back into OpenIV, it transforms to ymap automagically

here's the file in question but it's still encrypted no matter what I do, I try to put it in openiv but it still doesn't work.

@dawsmo have you tried using codewalker? Its file explorer is much more powerful than OpenIV's and can most likely decrypt the file you wanna get access to

CW is always the superior choice indeed (but it's not as widely used as OpenIV). Oddly enough, CW couldn't decrypt it either. Nor the old metatool beta. I don't have the latest OpenIV, though, yet.

@meimeiriver despite cw being massively outdated for game version to the tool it is still miles further than openIV in terms of items it can open and decrypt / edit the latest versions of openiv have mostly been game patch updates and nothing else
