does the "mods" folder decrease game performance?

since the mods folder basically duplicates the game's files, adding more memory usage.
that's bound to cause fps loss, right?

it doesn't load both mods folder and vanilla, just mods folder so its the exact same

@Modz4Me No, the "mods" folder does not decrease the game performance. Non-optimized mods do.

@Modz4Me mods folder don't decrease fps as was wrote here but the mods itself can if they are made wrong, mostly the scripts can do that. Using a lot of highpoly models and high resolution textures may just cause slower loading of some textures, but we are talking about more than 5-10-20 mods to do this.
