One of the most important aircraft of the VVS and PVO during the 1970s. I am a big fan of the MiG-23 in spite of its (quite unfair) poor reputation.
MiG-23M, first mass produced variant. Modified version of 'MiG-23 Model 1971'
MiG-23ML (Modified, Lightweight. Major upgrade introduced in the mid-1970s. Easily recognisable by the cutback fin. Radome is also slightly different. Also noteworthy is its less extreme 'nose-up' position when landed, due to the removal of the rear fuel tank.)
