help w hair/clothes/car replace mods

noob question but I downloaded hair and clothing mods for trevor, michael, and franklin, replaced car models and put them in the proper spots but i'm not seeing the replacement cars or the options at clothing stores or in my wardrobes. How do i access them? do i use a trainer mod?
