[SCRIPT] Online content into the Single Player game
-
I couldn't help notice all the great stuff coming to GTA online in recent months, especially with the new Biker dlc. So I was wondering if a mod could be made whereby all the DLC from online could be put into single player. For example purchasing a clubhouse and the illegal businesses that came with the Biker DLC in the Single Player game and adding all the gameplay features that came with it. Also I'd like to see the finance and felony gameplay features (i.e. offices and organization's) in the single player game too, not to mention the yachts. Its a shame that Rockstar left this out of the Single Player game, I can't imagine it would be that hard to put it in. Plus I don't think it would be out of place in the Single Player experience.
-
I hope that too.
-
I was going to request the same thing, it would be great if someone could make this happen!
-
@MortlockZ nice to know I'm not the only one thinking this would be a good idea
-
@TV209 hey you have pirated gta?
-
@HamoodDev Discussions about pirated versions of GTAV is against forum rules. If you talk about that, it will get the thread locked.
-
@HamoodDev I bought it legally from a retailer
-
@LeeC2202 oh sorry didn't know.
-
@HamoodDev No worries mate
-
https://www.gta5-mods.com/ use the search button... there is a shitload of online stuff that has been made or converted to single player game...all you have to do is search in the scripts section
-
@Quakex64 Yeah, maybe the vehicles, peds, and the "melee on bike" mechanic - but nothing like what OP is suggesting. We still don't have something as simple as the GTAO Gang Attacks ported to SP yet, only people's own versions which uses the mission editor which isn't as great as it sounds.
There's an old, outdated script that adds some of the GTAO random events, but was never developed further. There needs to be an entire project dedicated to bringing all of the GTAO content to SP, than random little snippets and attempts.
-
Yeah modders have definitely done their best to keep up with different online add-ons individually. I'm gonna bump this anyways cause I agree it should all be single player DLC anyways and i also don't think any of it would be out of place. Even if it all didn't match up with story fuck it the games been out for over 4 years anyways.
-
@kinghippo2000 Thing is the content should be able to fit into story mode. The events of GTAO are supposed to take place before GTA V. Still hoping someone one day brings over all the content. Even the gang stacks and stuff. Seems like people just gave up, and only the vehicles are brought over these days.
-
Bump. It's been five months, and GTAO has some content that would blend nicely into SP for side-missions and stuff.
-
Another GTAO update, another day that someone hopefully might want to port over GTAO and its entirety to single player.
-
Agreed. Needs to happen.
Even adding a 4th character, which would essentially be a custom GTA O character.
To be honest, I wonder why no one has tried. The most recent update to GTA Online that got a SP script was the yacht and apartments from Executive and Other Criminals.
Were missing Finance and Felony, Bikers, Import/Export, Gun Running, and now Smugglers Run.
If the custom character thing is done, we need some sort of API. I suppose character swap could be used, but we would want money, as well as use of the content that SP characters have access to. Perhaps some more advanced form of Character Swap could deliver this to us. The current character swap gives us access to the strip club, Ammunation, LS Customs, mini games, etc... This is where we may need ysc scripting so we can seamlessly integrate it with SP as well as unblock stuff at LSC and the gun shop.

Now I am well aware this thread is old. but it ain't no more, since cp1dell commented 2 months later (view skelepaps comment for proof of 2 month timestamp.), and so now it's new again.
You can already get GTAO content in Single Player. You could for months. You have been waiting months all for nothing.
With a little proper installation of a fancy script mod called mpdlcname in SP and a good trainer (the best and well known one (and recommended) is Menyoo)
There really is no other way, other than piracy (which can more than likely get you a Kiss Ass To Avoid Court card, knowing Take-Two and it's thought on piracy (and it's past hit on the modding scene for GTA5, but better known as Cease And Desist, or C&D for short., which by the way, if not followed through, can actually land you serious legal problems. (and it sure as hell would if you pirated anything from them. hell, not just Take-Two, anybody really, unless that company's long dead (like 1990's dead. say an old PC game, becomes abandonware, and abandonware in some cases is totally legal because that company is dead and no longer owns the game, what can anybody do if the company's dead, or the game's no longer supported?)
Hope this had cleared up something. I only just saw this thread, btw, so apologies if I may have missed something.

@krashadam I already know about that, and how to spawn the content in SP. We are talking about missions, and properties. Not weapons and vehicles.

Well like I said before:

@krashadam I doubt there would be legal problems as there are several scripts which add Online content in SP. Things like Single Player Apartment, Benny's Original Motorworks, Online Evans in SP, and Yacht Delux.
If you were duplicating Online content in an alternative MP mod, they probably won't like that.

No, you're absolutely right, mpsmugglers in SP still exists. It's the actual copying of their assets (e.g GTAIV Liberty City ) that they would start going bezerk over.
-
@krashadam Right, and converting Online content to SP isn't bad since they technically treated as the same game.
-
@nkjellman They'll just patch the game again to fight against it.
-
@krashadam That is the issue with ysc scripts. Even if they don't attempt to patch it, they will need to be redone for every update.
Also, the vehicle deletion thing, I think that is just them preventing vehicles from being glitched into SP. Otherwise they would have updated their security. But they know that is futile.
