Addon Packs

I have decided to see about taking on the task of creating one large Addon pack for myself. The one problem I'm having is that none of the programs on my computer can read the global files under the AmericanDLC.RPF from the lang folder, in the format that OpenIV can, and that's not editable. Any help there? (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks*****\dlc.rpf\x64\data\lang\americandlc.rpf\global.gxt2)

You don't need gxt2 tools.
OpenIV support openformats which means you can use it as notepad++ or notepad

Oh okay cool. I have notepad but will try notepad+ to see if it works. If so I'll see about combining packs to prevent crashes.

@cyberzone2 That's really useful... I'm writing a tool to combine addons and I was concerned about the gxt2 files... thanks for the video link.
