ikt's NFSU2 Speedo - Fix the Turbo Gauge?

I'm sure a few people have asked about this, I was looking for an answer myself.
My turbo gauge has stopped working. It'll show up but the needle doesn't move. Is there a fix?

The mod is open-source, and the source code was updated 16 days ago. You could try compiling the mod to see if the problem is fixed on the latest code: https://github.com/E66666666/GTAVSpeedo
