EXport cars from GTA V

Thumbs up ...I am actually a 3d designer, most of my work WAS with apple computers ... these days I switched to pc ...
cheaper, faster and ... GTA-able
Up to now I only played GTA on my xboxONE ... now I bought the pc version via steam...
and found the great MOD possibilities ... GREAT!So I am currently able to IMport a car ... and it runs ...
Ever using the great openIV tool ...
But ... I also have tried to EXport a car model from GTA V. To make some changings on a currently installed car ...
I went the way as it is explained in a few tutorials like:but when I have changed the file I can only export the file to *.skel or *.otd ... but not to *.odr.
(I know //a little about the suffix meanings ... *.ytd ... *.ydr ...)Is there a way //tutorial which explains the way to EXport a car from gta???
would be great to get an answer, thx in advance and sry for my poor english.
