Time Change in Simple Trainer

Im not sure what I may be missing, but when in game using simple trainer I am not able to change my time of day. Example, if I select noon as the time of day, my game will flash noon and revert back to whatever time it is on my system. I have sync to system time disabled as well.
Any ideas, tips, or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
