vehicle make name unrecognized

Why does the game not recognize Mini and Mitsubishi as the make name when it is changed to those in vehicles.meta?

@chonkie Interesting that is. For some reason changing the vehiclemakename and gamename works without doing all that. It's just for these two that it didn't.

@QBit07 Wish I could help more, but I'm not too familiar with car stuff yet. I just had that page bookmarked from awhile back because I eventually wanted to try renaming stuff in the game but just haven't had the time to get to it. Thought it might be helpful.

@chonkie What I really need to know now is how to add livery support to car mods that don't have it. I don't expect to get an answer from anyone though since quite a few threads across the entirety of these forums never get responded to.

The game just needs to know how to match the vehicle.meta with the localization, and just falls back on the vehicle.meta values (for vehicle name, not brand name).
The thread is pretty clear, what are you running into?
For adding livery support to vehicles, you need to re-UV map it. Never done 3D or texture stuff so I wouldn't know what you'd need to do.
