@thud1y That's what it seems like, most likely due to the poor responses from the few people that commented wondering why the mod was even made and one person saying to stop. I'm not into japanimation myself, so don't know if the mod was made well, but can understand if that is the style that someone else likes. Seems like others didn't get that point in their head.
