Main Menu is super Choppy

So before I added any mods and when you first launch the game the main menu is super choppy. But once im in the actual game play its fine. How do I fix the choppy main menu when you first launch the game from the desktop?

Maybe enabling Vsync can help, but it'd disable FreeSync/GSync.
I'm having similar issues in the pause menu.
