  • @sheria Please post screenshots of your mods folder and the scripts folder and the main folder so we can answer your problem precisely.

i use mod manager but i dont think it does matter but here is some of the pictures i am downloadin 13,6GB for gta v idk why but ya

  • @sheria It seems OK, unless you have modified rpfs. If you have modified them, you need OpenIV.asi and mods folder to load them properly and to prevent the launcher downloading the original files back.

  • @Akila_Reigns i do use modded stuff but BILAGO teached me how to use mod manager to every mod i dont use the base game its rly weird atm i only have the blood mod as an RPF but the game still dosent work even i just use scripthook and an trainer

  • @sheria Are all the rpfs unmodified? Not even the update.rpf?

  • @Akila_Reigns every mod i do goes eiter to main folder scripts or mods like u do when u mod the main game since i mod trough mod managers i need todo extras ill see if this is working after this download. i had this problem for a few days now redownloaded the whole game yesterday soo ya :(

ILL launch the game with the mods i got go over them and see if i forgot an mods folder or something :P

  • @Akila_Reigns i pmed you :P soo this goes a bit faster xD :P

  • @Akila_Reigns ok soo i tried to launch my game with my sound and blood mod the game crashed :O

  • @Akila_Reigns if u look at the screenshot i sendt on pm u see that i have installed them correctly like have rpf`s in mods folder etc :O but i still crashes O.o

  • @sheria I don't think that's how the mods folder work, it should look like mods\×64a.rpf.

  • @Akila_Reigns ya but the mod manager needs an name for the mod and i just called it moreblood lol

  • I shared it here.

@LeeC2202 @Frazzlee sorry to drag you to this but what do you think?

  • @Akila_Reigns My first thought was "Where's the update folder?"

  • @LeeC2202 Man today is the worst day of my life, how did I not see that?

  • @Akila_Reigns Bilago did even do teamviewer with me how to do the different mods xD soo ya but why should i need update folder xD ?

  • @sheria Because it contains critical game files that the game needs. It's a standard game folder, everyone has one.

  • @LeeC2202 oh lol the updates folder is in the mod manager lol

@Akila_Reigns is my mods folder outside gta v BTW xD

  • @LeeC2202 Off topic: I noticed your Scripts folder is a shortcut, how did you do it and why?

  • @sheria I have added a picture to my comment to show how mine looks. update should be in your main GTAV folder, as should your mods folder and your scripts folder.

  • @LeeC2202 i use mod manager soo every mod i add to the game will be moved by the mod manager to the main GTA V folder xD

thats my mod folder for all my mods

  • @Akila_Reigns It's a symbolic link to a folder on my E: drive. Because I write script mods and write a lot of data to that folder, it means I am not constantly writing to my SSD.

Also, because I have another installation in Windows 10 (I dual boot) it means I can use a symbolic link there and share the same scripts folder between both installs.

  • @LeeC2202 @Akila_Reigns soo what u are saying is that update needs to be in mods right or i am miss understanding here xD ?

  • @sheria You still need update in the main GTAV folder though.

I don't know how mod managers work but from my understanding, they simply copy the mods from a folder elsewhere, into the mods folder inside your GTAV folder.

  • @sheria Your game is missing some files. Even the first PC version of the game came with an update folder.
