how to edit mods

my situation is that im using realistic nitro in my gtav... i wanted to kno if u could edit the mod to add in the nos effect of the nfs series.... n when i say 'effect' i mean the sound it makes when u activate nos... ive tried dwnloadin the NFS Staged Nitro mod by lorizz12 but it doesnt wrk for me.... the V4 of that mod does wrk but i doesnt wrk wit my ikt speedo mod... if anyone could help me with editing the realistic nitro mod or figure out why Nfs Staged nitro V5 doesnt wrk is greatly appreciated

@QBit07 what i don't like about the NFSGAUGE is that it doesn't show neutral gear unlike ikt's NFSU speedo

i like using the manual transmission set up...... it lets me take turns how i wanna take em..... after drivin stick in real life it really changes the game

There's a setting in enhanced native trainer under vehicles you get to choose nitro mode, choose nitro mode 1. It adds the sound effects similar to need for speed nitrous
