Hi everyone,

Dark Mode for 5mods has been something a lot of users have asked about and today it's finally here!

You can now toggle between light and dark mode at https://www.gta5-mods.com/ using the new button we've added to the navigation bar.

This option will only set your preference for the site, the forums will remain in "light" mode.

Can we have a solution that these icons not covering the preview picture? Something like only on mouse hover?
Its now reducing the preview picture space and will prevent to make it less attractive and maybe also confusing.

@MrGTAmodsgerman I don't think it creates confusion, the design is well applied.

I wanted to leave a suggestion in the act of uploading the mod, there could be a field for us to choose the country to which the mod belongs so a flag would appear before the name and then even in the search, the search for countries was done. like that

@MrGTAmodsgerman my last reply was a joke dw. we're working to improve it. this is the first time 5mods has had a big facelift afaik so there will be a few teething issues, but we're working to improve it

@carloxfranco sorry but I think this is useless option, what does it matter what country it was made in? If mod is good I support author from any country no difference if he is from US or Africa or Russia and if your point is that you want find mods that are for example liveries of your country etc, it all should have it in name or tag so simple search option can separate them for you

@Reacon Theres a problem when browsing 5mods on mobile. The icons are a little too big and don't fit in the same row, thus covering some categories.

We're making some tweaks to Dark Mode this week, including fixing the mobile view header.

Just a follow up from Picky's previous comment. The new tweaks have been rolled out! You can now find dark mode in the drop down menu when you click on your name
