Is the EGS launcher better than Steam in terms of modding?

So EGS has selling free GTA 5 on their end and I wonder, does it still uses the R* launcher on that one? Also I wonder if this is like better than Steam or still same old thing. Let me know about your experience if so.

LOL you can't even mod on EGS version and yeah it still has R* launcher

considering it isn't supported by scripthook yet i wouldn't say its the best, i still believe steam to be the best but thats probably biased since its the version i use
