Hi guys im new to GTA V. I wanted to buy this game here - https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/grand-theft-auto-v/home but im bit confused with the version name.. it says GTA online game. so if i buy this game from that URL, will i be able to use these game mods or not? Can someone check and update me?

you can, but the problem is, mods dont work for epic games version. only work for steam and retail

Im ok to purchase steam version.. but do you know why it wont work for epic games? any specific reasons?

@sam200e in order for mods to work u need to download scripthookv. scripthookv only supports version 1.0.1868.1 gta. the version of gta epic game has is 1.0.1868.4. Im not sure if the author will make the 1.0.1868.4 version though
