Livery Upload Question

Hi all,
I'm fairly new to PC gaming and modding so please go easy on me haha.
I have a question as I don't want to wrong anyone on here. I have downloaded SkylineGTRFreak's 747-8i mod (can't find the link for it so here's his page link https://www.gta5-mods.com/users/SkylineGTRFreak) and am in the process of turning the Lufthansa livery that comes with the 747-8i mod into the retro livery.
I would love to share it but, again, I don't want to do the wrong thing. When finished, would I be able to upload it and credit/link Skyline?

@EJA1949 I think small texture edits shouldn't be problem since they are just like a paint on a model. Models are not allowed but I believe (still might be wrong) a livery edit or a texture fix shoudn't cause any problem. Seen many texture fixes and livery uploads of other mods with only given credits. When I checked the original mod pages, author didn't say anything about permissions however they might have contacted the author through direct messages as well.
I honestly think it should be ok but I would say wait for a mod's confirmation to be fully safe.

Hey mate, thank you for the reply. I'll wait for for the OK before doing anything. I'm not doing this for money/tips or anything, just an aviation geek slowly making liveries I like.

@EJA1949 If the original author does not mention the opposite in the description, making and uploading liveries/paintjobs for existing vehicles is not a problem. Just make sure to don't include the model files and also provide a link to the original mod page on the description.
