I can never go to page 2 in the forums

How do I disable the function that throws me back to the last viewed post on page 1?
Every time I try to go to a different page, I am returned to page 1.
I can manually enter the new page in the address bar and that works fine, but the page number bar doesn't work for me.

Known bug AFAIK. Happens to me sometimes, usually on mobile, and usually doesn't last too long.
