Crashes when enabling MP Map. (SP)


  • There seems to be a few crashes when I enable MP map mode for online interiors and all.

    The game is crashing at Satellite or Radar location is Sandy Shores. Does anyone knows why?

    I have removed my map mods like BetaVNP, BetaInteriors and MapFixes. But the crash is still happening. SP Map works just great with all of these and without these as well. I have also removed scripts files related to map mods as well. But no luck. The game is crashing at radar location as soon as I teleport there or If I enable Online MP map while being there.

    Really strange. Would have been nice if someone can tell me why this is happening, otherwise I might have to remove OnlineInteriors and play with SP map itself.

    P.S. I use SimpleTrainer for almost everything.

    If you have Online Interiors and play missions, it might be the cause of your trouble. Online Interiors are quite unstable in connection with vanilla missions being played. Would that be the case?

  • Oh no. I don't want to play missions. It was issue with some MLOs. Removed them and everything is stable as of yet.

    Seems like MLOs don't go well with Online Map. :\ Except a few like Malibu, Play Mansion, and Marabunta.

    Might be fixable by manipulating poolsizes all though I doubt it

    I have both Onlineinteriors and MP maps enabled. And they work together fine. I don't play missions, though. You have to keep in mind, though, that enabling MP maps takes up a lot of resources, regardless of anything else. So, you'll need a very good gameconfig to begin with (I run Dilapidated's one, adapted for the latest game version).

  • Update on the issue. Had to remove all MLOs and start from scratch. Turns out it was int_maps in dlclist along with Beta Veg and Prop and Beta Interiors that were crashing the game. The game is working again. :)

    Nothing related to it. Some MLOs are not compatible with Online MP map.
