How to prevent engine revving?
-
So a lot of cars revving their engine at the last RPM. What I mean is that when you hold your handbrake while stopping and try to accelerate, the car increases it's RPM and starts revving it's engine at the very end and the RPM gauge flicking like crazy.
I didn't know this would be able to preventable until I found this mod. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mercedes-benz-amg-c-63-s-coupe-2016-1-0
In this mod when you try it, instead of it's revving the engine, the RPM just smoothly increases to the last point and just stays there at the very max RPM the car can achieve.
I tried to copy it's handling.meta to another car but unfortunately it didn't prevent the revving. I mean yes it does sounds cool at some cars but certainly not at every cars if you get what I mean.
My question is, can this be done through editing the metas and if so how/what I need to edit prevent engine revving?
Thanks in advance

@Aurora11 - There is also this excellent mod:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/smooth-throttle
Allows you to adjust the power of breaking and accelerating, so the RPMs increase steadily instead of performing a rally-type spurt that C* left us with.
Does not solve the revving mechanism as such... But smoother acceleration could probably make them less noticeable.

@TheMurderousCricket Thank you so much. It still comes in very handy I must say. I can accelerate like in real life now instead of always skidding the tires
