Invalid RIFF/WAVE file


  • i am making a lexus lc500 sound mod and i decided to use the pariah sound as a base (i replaced engine accel, decel etc...) but when i try to import open formats in openiv it says Invalid RIFF/WAVE file, any way to fix it, or did my 30mins of work go to waste?

    Throw it into Audacity (completely free) & then export it as 'WAV (Microsoft) signed 16-bit PCM' & then try it again.

    Audacity Export:
    'File' tab > 'Export' > 'Export Audio...' (Ctrl+Shft+E) > 'Save as type' dropdown = 'WAV (Microsoft) signed 16-bit PCM' > 'Save'

    Make sure the file is mono as well :thumbsup:
