Why Can't Lowriders: Custom Classics (mplowrider2) Vehicles Spawn Parked/In Traffic?
I'm in the process of modifying the traffic in my copy of GTA V, using OpenIV.
I have managed to get vehicles from the Lowriders (mplowrider) update spawning in traffic and as parked vehicles without issue, however any and all vehicles from Lowriders: Custom Classics (mplowrider2) do not spawn by themselves in traffic, as parked vehicles, or anywhere else. I can force the vehicles to spawn (and without disappearing afterwards, too) by using Simple Trainer, however.
Is there some kind of special block that Rockstar Games put on the vehicles in that update, which I'm not aware of, that prevents them from spawning by themselves?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Just modify the Popgroups.ymt to make them spawn in traffic
Thanks for your reply.
That's what I've already done. I edited files (popcycle.dat, popgroups.ymt, and the various vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta files) using the same methods for Lowriders and Lowriders: Custom Classics vehicles, yet only vehicles in the Lowriders update spawn.
@naean My mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/enhanced-population spawns DLC cars into traffic including the Tornado5. Its one of the only cars with custom liveries alongside the windsor. By default, the roof is black, so in order to see the multiple liveries spawning in traffic the color of the roof needs to change. I have pics in the mod of my custom tornado. In order for the game to have enough memory to spawn the cars a gameconfig with vehicle memory increased is required or they won't spawn.
I found this out modifying my gameconfig, as soon as I gave the game enough memory it started spawning the windsor everywhere with liveries. Since then I've modded my traffic to spawn the cool paint jobs more often.
Try this tool. It'll let you have traffic the way you want it rather than fixed popgroups. It'll even have a backup so in case something goes wrong it'll have a backup.
