"Dewbauchee Rapid GT Classic" almost no tuning/customization options in SP story mode issue.
-
For some reason the "Dewbauchee Rapid GT Classic" has almost no tuning/customization options in single player story mode. I have tried spawning it with simple trainer and menyoo with no difference. I have asked around with other players on discord and it seems they have the same issue with this vehicle too. If anyone can provide a fix/solution to this issue then that would be great.

i have that problem too but i dont mind since i dont drive the car that much. i think it has something to do with the mod kit in carcols.meta of the car. the mod kit is 260_rapidgt3_modkit, but the id value (just the line below) says "101" for some reason. if you look at the other cars, their mod kit value and id value match. so try changing the id value to 260. tell me if it works because im lazy to test it myself

That did the trick, I just hope there aren't any other vehicles in game that uses the id value 260 and it ends up causing issues with those, but for now I'll stick with the change. Thanks for help!

Hi. I have the same problem. I tried this solution but it DIDN'T work for me.

@J-Glenn64 did you save the file after editing?

@drlq99 that solution didn't work for me, I also tried changing the entire modkit id but that also didn't work. Idk what's going on.

ID 260 is the modkit for the Thruster. Changing to that will either cause the Thruster or the Rapid GT modkit to fail.
When vanilla cars lose their modkit, the cause is usually a mod that has an ID of greater than 1023. You will need to go through your mods and check each one, or use I'mNotMentals Vehicle ID Getter to ascertain which the problematic ones are.
For completeness, the Modkit ID and number within Kitname do not need to match. The kitname is simply a name defined in carvariations that points the game to the correct entry in the carcols file, as long as the kitname matches in both carvariations and carcols, the kit ID doesn't matter, as long as it is unique and less than 1024.
