(GTAVLauncherBypass.asi) & (No_GTAVLauncher.exe) Are Not Working After GTAO Update

Hello,
If you are an experienced modder and have a solution, or if you are simply encountering the same issue (confirming i'm not the only one) i would be happy to read your comment !I have the DVD version of the Game, not the Steam.
Since yesterday's GTA O update, i cannot play with mods anymore (i know we need to wait for ScripthookV update but the below workaround that are normally working, are not helpful this time).What i did:
- I have installed the Rockstar Games Launcher.
- I have logged into my Social Club account
- I have let RGL installing the "11 august 2020" GTA Online MAJ
Once done i have tryed to downgrade GTAV to its previous version by putting back the previous version of :
- GTA5.exe
- GTAVLanguageSelect
- GTAVLauncher
- PlayGTAV
- update.rpf
- and renaming my mods folder to something else

WORKAROUND ATTEMPT 1 : No_GTAVLauncher
i have put in the GTAV root folder the files from :
https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/no-gtavlauncher
I tryed all three versions available : the 0.9 the 1.0 and the 2.0
--> Tryed to launch the game (by clicking on No_GTAVLauncher.exe) ------> Error Message. The Game won't launch.

WORKAROUND ATTEMPT 2 : GTAVLauncherBypass
I think this mod is not available anymore on this website, but i have an old backup of it on my hard drive.
i have put in the GTAV root folder these files :- GTAVLauncherBypass.asi
- GTAVLauncherBypass.ini
(settings in this ini : bypass_launcher_check = true //// bypass_intro_video = true //// bypass_legal_message = true)
--> Tryed to launch the game (by clicking on GTA5.exe) ------> Error Message. The Game won't launch
--> Tryed to launch the game (by clicking on No_GTAVLauncher.exe) --> Error Message. The Game won't launch

WORKAROUND ATTEMPT 3 : Rage Plugin Hook
I have installed the latest available version

--> Tryed to launch the game (by clicking on the Rage Plugin exe)
------> I end up on the Rockstar Game Launcher screen again
and the RGL tryes to update my game to the latest version (...as i have downgraded it 5 min ago) so it's impossible to play with Mods.My 2 questions are:
- Am i the only one facing this issue ?
- Anybody has a working solution to share ?Thanks in advance !
(Edit 1) : forgot to mention that i have not modified deleted or reinstalled any file located in the My documents/Rockstar Games folder containing game backups, social club infos, rockstar editor clips etc...

I also updated the game and couldn't play with mods. I didn't know about the workarounds, but tried doing what u explained in this message and it also didnt fix it for me. I would appreciate some help aswell

@Coppa_Calypse I'm having the exact same issue! I was playing fine yesterday and all of a sudden I got this message to download the launcher when I launched the game later that night. I haven't updated my game in ages and have been using GTAVLauncherBypass (which is removed now) because I don't play online and am using a mods folder. I don't get it? I've never had to update my game or anything? Usually when launching the GTA5.exe it would load the game and load into social club just fine.

Same here, no solution yet. My game is from before worldwar 2 so the older game version does not work of course....

The reason why mods don't work is because GTA V was updated and ScripthookV.dll no longer works. Please be patient while it gets updated in the next coming days to next week. Then mods will work again.

@Algonquin1234 Yes sure, asuming you are willing to update your game this is correct.
But the issue is different this time because apparently it is not even possible to downgrade your game to the previous version as neither GTAVlauncherBypass.asi nor No_GTAVLauncher.exe works.
Meaning that from now on i will be forced to update the game everytime R* updates GtaO (although i do not play online at all).

@Coppa_Calypse launcher bypass works for me. I made a backup of my game folder last night though as a safety precaution.

Don't use the .asi, it's outdated.

@Coppa_Calypse It was possible for me to downgrade. I just did it with the epic games store version and launched into story mode. See this thread (https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/30865/mods-in-mods-folder-not-working/10). Read @blucker method. For epic games store version see my post for modification. Didn't even have to use launcherbypass or nolauncher, neither of which work for me anyway. Launched via regular GTAV.exe.

Same issue here, a black screen saying the launcher had to be used. In the past, I was able to manually change the date/time on my computer to a prior date since that seemed like it would bypass some of the date checks, but that no longer works.
Is anyone able to do offline mode? That's not working for me either (activation required error).

@Coppa_Calypse and for anyone else, sorry just saw you had the DVD version. I suspect if you only now installed the rockstar games launcher and social club you may not have had Rockstar-Games-Launcher.exe and Social-Club-Setup.exe originally. The method I linked to above requires those two .exes to be replaced with .exes from previous patches. If you didn't have copies of those .exes I suspect downgrading would be impossible since both of those .exes have been updated with this latest patch.

having same issue, before the update I would launch gta with mods through the rockstar launcher with no issue. After the update I have downgraded to my backup of gta v and installed no gta v launcher. The game now opens for a second and then crashes after running no gta v launcher.

Update, apparently Rockstar updated their launcher which means game needs to be launched offline after reverting. To bypass follow these videos:

Thanks, I also have the dvd version and this method worked for me.Tried both GTAVLauncherBypass.asi and also No_GTAVLauncher.exe and they both work for me.
I did have an issue with an addon spawner mod, removed it and is all fine.

@JNA_jdm hey man, can you please upload me gta 5 bypass asi and other files, It is nowhere to be found, I know the mods works perfectly just uninstalled game and lost all files.

You don't actually need those mods, just make a copy for your game files and you are safe.
