Replaced update.rpf and now game crashes every time I load story mode.

Hello. I was about to install a mod when OpenIV told me to copy a new version of update.rpf to my mods folder, and I did so. I tried opening my game, loaded story mode and the game crashed. Sigh, here we go again. I'm not super intelligent when it comes to modding, so I have no idea how to fix my game. All tips on how to fix my game are highly appreciated. Thanks.
