game crashing when trying to do the "minisub" mission

*I got my pc a couple of weeks ago and i've been slowly progressing in story with mods installed, menyoo, gameconfig, vanilla works extended, etc. For some reason every time I try and do the "minisub" mission for trevor's heist the game just quits, doesn't give me an error message or anything. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me?
