Can you mod MP content for SP use and not getting ban ?

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new at mods and I have few questions.
My main goal is to put Online content in my Solo mode and change textures (clothes, livery...) for mine. But I read that modifying MP contents can get you banned, but what if I dont even log into multiplayer ?Thanks for your help and if you've got links to videos / topics / mods about importing online content into solo mode it will be dope ! Specially about clothes
