I want to replace the main characters but I can't

Hi, recently i downloaded Claude,Tommy and CJ models in HD, Tommy is a replacement and I don't have problem with that but Claude and CJ are addon peds, so everytime that I fail/die in the mission or when I change the character, the character returns to the original model (Franklin/Trevor), and I really want to beat the game with Claude,Tommy and CJ, but everytime that I change the character or fail the mission, Claude and CJ returns to Trevor and Franklin and this makes the experience so boring, having to change the model everytime.
So, anyone knows how to replace Franklin and Trevor models with CJ and Claude models?
