Problem with DLClist.xml

I'm currently running the latest version of GTA V, and I'm trying to add a new line into the edit area of DLCList.xml, but when I try to hit enter to create a new line, it won't allow me. Is there a line capacity limit? And if so, how can I get past it because a lot of add-on mods require a new line in the DLCList.

@lonebloodwolf11 right click on dlclist.xml and then "edit". Just opening doesnt work.
