my games crash

Good evening geeks I don't know what's going on but I'm starting to despair my game is up to date I replaced the hook script as well as the dinput8.dll and once I run my games arrived on the loading of the story mode the games are crashing could you tell me what to do and if the problem is not with the file itself because I saw on some sites that the dinput8.dll file will be corrupted. thank you in advance and have a good game

Do you have the steam version? If so, open steam and go to your library, then find GTAV, right click it and go to properties. Then at the top you will see a tab that says Local files, click on that and at the bottom you will see an option that says Verify Integrity Of Game Files, click that and wait for it to finish (might take a little while but not too long.) If there are any corrupted or missing files, steam will replace them. If it does have to replace files, wait for that to finish and try running the game again.

Good evening you told me to contact you if my problem did not improve and indeed I still have the same problem my games crash at launch I specify that I have mods and that apparently it will be the update rpf folder which could cause concern could you help me please? thanks in advance

@jerem89 Do you currently have any mods installed? If so what mods? The issue sometimes can be that mods are very outdated and haven't been updated for a long time, and so with game updates those specific versions of the mods won't work with the current game version. The best way to see what is going on is to check the log files in your GTAV folder. You will need to open the log files ScriptHookV.log and ScriptHookVDotNet2.log with a text editor and take a look at the latest logs. Each log entry should have a date next to it, so the latest one should be easy to find.

when I run my games I see version 1868 is this the right version because as I told you and I replaced all the hook scripts I looked like you told me to do in the logs file I see that it is marked on the left side warning script abandoned other scripts it is marked debug info error etc as I told you at the beginning I am not very computer savvy I deleted some mods where it is written that the script is abandoned but nothing helps

When you say you see version 1868 are you referring to the build that comes up in the bottom-right corner after the flashing police lights when you start the game? If you are then mine says 2060.1, so you may need to update the game or reinstall. If you choose to reinstall then I would delete the GTAV folder too, that will remove anything left over from the previous version. (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V)
Important: Make sure you uninstall from steam before
you delete the GTAV folder or it may cause you further problems. First find the game in your steam libraray, right-click it and choose uninstall. Then you can go to the location of your GTAV folder and delete it. Whenever I have to reinstall the game (usually because I break it with mods) I always delete the GTAV folder after uninstalling for a completely fresh install of the game.Did you try the steam thing, verifying the integrity of the game files?

Good evening I had managed to solve the problem but now I have another problem when I arrive on the loading screen I have a black screen with the small circle at the bottom right which turns but I can not manage the games I uninstall and reinstall gta but nothing helps
