gta gang and turf mod just doesnt work

i installed the gang and turf mod in my directory with the scripts folder and gangmoddata folder directly into the directory but it didn't work i tried using gta5 mod manager by bilago but it just made a mess with my files scattered and the mod that still doesn't work i need help
