[VEHICLE][WIP]AH-64D Apache



  • Huh? Didn't I release the Apache already?
    Yea... yea I did. But this is a remake and I think it actually deserves its own thread.
    The most noticeable changes are not really on the model itself though, but let me list the following updates and changes:

    -Completely overhauled handling (faster speed, better pitch and roll abilities)
    -Rotating 30mm gun AND FLIR sensor mounted in the front (aims where the player looks at)
    -New weapons (lock on missiles, slow rate of fire/rocket pods with rapid fire and no lock on/MG with explosive bullets and visible tracers)
    -Updated materials (specular and normal maps)
    -bullet resistant (now it takes LOOOOOOOOTS of bullets to take down/missile wills till take it down quickly)
    -bulletproof glass

  • @SkylineGTRFreak Now we are talking! :D Go Military Mods. Lets take it to the next LEVEL! :metal_tone1: I love the Disperse/ Spread of Rockets. i was going to use it on my SCUD laucher :p Cool. lets make Drop able unguided Bombs too!



  • @SkylineGTRFreak it would be so cool if , it could do a 360 degree flip side ways (roll). Like pakistan's wz-10 helicopter can. I think comanche can do it too in real life. Not sure about apache though.



  • If anyone of you succeeds with the 360 degree flip (On the pitch axis in my case), please tell me. I wanna implement that on my upcoming Tiger mod. Haven't tried it yet but I'm sure that's possible!



  • @FoxtrotDelta @Oskar I tried, but that shit was uncontrollable and twitchy as hell. It was only flyable with controller and even then it was... weird. :/



  • @SkylineGTRFreak one has to temper with stabalization as well. i'll try after sometime. right now primary focus is new weapons.



  • @SkylineGTRFreak @FoxtrotDelta Did anyone succeed with lock on missiles on ground vehicles? I'm planning to bring a Patriot Missile Launcher into the game once anyone got that working.

  • @Oskar I have already worked out the patriot as a trailer but it does not function as a trailer. its buggy. so i was going to integrate it with M1070 Truck of mine. you can do it too if you want. and i am also bringing Russian BUk and Scud launchers in the game , along with German USA and Russian Artillery. in coming days. Working Hard on New Weapons. also Drop able Bombs From Aircraft. without the need of Scripts. lets see what happen's . i shall let you know. if i get the lock on working.



  • @FoxtrotDelta Are you also working on a MARS Artillery (MLRS) ? Cause I've finished one quite some time ago but I didn't realease it cause I didn't touch custom weapons yet.

  • @Oskar are you working on the missile trailer only or also the communication trailers? Wanted to Do the HEMTT soon including those variants used for Patriot sites

  • @SkylineGTRFreak Oshkosh HEMT , is different than M1070. you make HEMT . i'll make M1070.



  • @Oskar Weapons don't work on trailers. they have to be part of the vehicle. they, haven't worked as a detachable trailer for me . yet if they would, it would be so cool!

    about that hellfire missile,I've got the prop rippped from the RQ-9 you've sent me before,and it's the samme one on your AH-64,so guess it's a nice feature for you?
    I know which files to edit but I can make a good DLC.rpf file,it should contain :

    • weapons.meta to define the model to use when projected
    • weaponarchetypes.meta to define what weapopn prop there is
    • and of course the weapons.rpf which contains the prop models

    There's things uneeded in it but I was too lazy to sort them out,in the weapons.meta there's the flamethrower,the missiles and the .50cal turret of yours,just pick out the missile ones XD

  • @SkylineGTRFreak Hello, can you finally look after this mod, please? Just like your AH-1Z, after adding ass addon and during spawning it by trainer, scripthook crash comes up. The same when i've just replaced it for hunter. Any suggestions?



  • @adinhoa change its weapons in hanlding.meta give it regular gta 5 weapons and see what happens. u just refreshed 2 years old thread.



  • @FoxtrotDelta I'm getting the same trainer crash despite changing the weapons to regular GTA 5 weapons
