How can I edit the way my steering wheel turns

Hi guys, I'm kinda new to this, I was wondering if it's possible to make the steering will more realistic(like I'm using a steering wheel). Let's say I want to avoid traffic, just a little turn to over take will do but when I use the left button the car moves like I'm about to make a turn. I don't know if you understand what I mean. Please help me out if you can

The Custom Steering option in Manual Transmission basically hard-links your interior steering wheel to the actual steering angles. From there you can adjust the amount of rotation your steering wheel makes.
