HELP! My scripthookv.dll is not the latest according to the latest patch?!
-
I tried to redownload scripthookv.dll from Dev-C website. However, the game keeps prompting me that it is not the latest?! My update version is the 12th September 2020 version.
Anyone encountered similar issues as mine? I just got it today after my steam had a minor update for GTA V...

Maybe because of the new GTA Online update?

@Raranoobster I haven't updated my game but I believe today's update was a version changing one
and no matter how small the update is, if it's changing version number it breaks scripthook very unfortunatly

@Raranoobster
It's explained here:
https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/8068/if-your-mods-have-stopped-working-after-the-latest-update-please-read-this-first

Oh well, i guess we will have to wait for Dev-C to come out with the new update within the next few days or so...
Days without mods are boring
-
@IAmJFry haha yea gonna check back in 4 days time

For anyone who has their GTAV linked to Epic Games: there's no way out.
I found a program that allegedly blocks the update but the EG launcher is inevitable. It won't even let me start the game offline or start the GTAV.exe so i guess the mods will break for me as well. 2020 is almost over and this insignificant restriction can't be bypassed ffs...

@gombay99 yea i feel you bruh
-
@gombay99 Actually it can but I'm not sure does it work with Epic

That's why you back up your files and then roll back your game to the previous patch while mod authors update their code to work on the latest one
