Game wont launch

Hey,
Ive just installed A mod on oiv (italian mafia, which adds a gang hideout), and now now the game wont launch- ill click on it on steam and it will process a bit, and then just displays "play" button like ive never touched it.
Im certain its not new for you more experienced guys- can you point me what to do next in order for the game to work?

Have you verified the integrity of your steam files first?

happens the same to me, I didnt install that mod, but cant launch the game as weel :c
