Certain weapons not having any ammo

Recently in certain weapons, they have no ammo, and I cannot buy ammo for it either. Although, I can hold down the shoot button and it will shoot without stopping, but once I let off it no longer shoots and is stuck in this nonworking state. I have even tried enabling infinite ammo in native trainer and menyoo and that also does not work. I think I deleted an important file most likely and wondering if that is the case, and how I would go about trying to get that file back. has anyone ran into the same problem or could help me?
