Zmodeler: Merge meshes or add new mesh. Help

  • Hello friends, I need your help. I'm editing a ped and for now it works perfect, but I need to add a beard mesh to it and I can't figure out how to put it. The character I am using is "ig_beverly" and I already have all the meshes used upper, low, feet, etc. I would like to merge the beard with another mesh, but I don't know how. I've already used the "Attach" tool and nothing. Upon entering the game, the merged mesh remains in the air with the other. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I tried adding the beard .mesh in "accs_000" (which is where I want to merge it) and I have 2 .mesh left, but I don't want to remove any. I export the .ydd and when I enter the game, the same thing happens with the "Attach" tool, they remain in the air and not attached to the body. I want the two meshes to be compacted into one and not the two to work in one .mesh. I don't know if I'll be explaining myself well, I hope you understand the problem I have.

  • @RacsoBlank You have to bind the mesh to the skeleton

  • @death7991 Thanks friend, now it seems that it works, but the beard is left with a little vibration. The beard is in the right place and is tight to the .skel. I can walk and everything is fine, but when I take a good look at the mesh, it shakes a little to the sides in the same place, it does not stay tight to the face. Maybe I'm missing something that I didn't see in the tutorials. If anyone knows about this let me know.

  • @RacsoBlank You need to paint the vertices. Here's a video on how to do it. Skip to 2:00

  • @death7991 Ok, I'll do what is in the video. I had already seen it in several tutorials, but I didn't pay much attention to it, it didn't seem like anything important to me. I'll let you know if it works for me. Thanks for the help.

  • @death7991 Hello friend, I was able to do the video and it worked for me. Now I have a completely stable beard. Thank you very much for your help.

  • @RacsoBlank Glad it worked out for you
