Help, Reticle/Crosshair always on screen

Hi everyone, i'm long time member of this site, but this is actually my first post on here. I'm asking for a little help from you guys.
I think it's been almost 5 years since i'm trying to have a good stable and full of mod game, and i think i finally did it, i can play the story game without crashing to desktop.
The only gameconfig that actually has let me play the game without crashing is the infinite's one. Hovever i started noticing that the reticle/crosshair is now always on screen no matter what i do, even if i just walk or drive the white dot is alway there. This is not much of a problem, but sometimes when driving it can be annoying. I tried to look in the settings but I could not find anything other than the selection between simple and complex viewfinder.
Could you guys please tell me where to look? with Openv i saw that my hud files are the same as the vanilla ones.
I have no idea where to look.

Just curious, have you tried one of the mods that disables the reticle completely? That could be a solution since it can be toggled on or off?
I think this one is an easy install without messing with original files.

@JohnFromGWN Thank you very much for your reply, i did try the game without mods but it0s doing the same; i am using that script for now, hopefully i'll find what is causing the problem.

@Jedidiah515 Hi. Let us know if it works. BTW, sorry if my communication wasn't clear, I wasn't suggesting you remove mods to see if it fixed problem, i was suggesting mods that remove the reticle.

@JohnFromGWN No problem, comunication was crystalclear, yes I understood
, but I wanted to try to see if the problem was related to the mods, unfortunately it is not so. At the moment I am using that script, I would say it is perfectly fine. As soon as I can I want to see if it is possible to change the activation key with one of the Xobx controller.
