Map editor not working - scripthhookv.net logs included

  • I was using Map editor okay last month but uninstalled it as I think I got my mods in a twist and the missions weren't showing on my game mode. Now I want it back but it won't work. I've reinstalled and deleted all non-vanilla files - I've gotten hold of the latest versions of Scripthook and so on (I think). I have imported the map editor files into a "scripts" folder but the log is saying they're not even trying to be accessed (again - I think). HELP! I was really enjoying using it before.

  • @asr Map Editor is a ScriptHookDotNet script, so you need to post some scripthookdotnet logs as well. You've only posted ScriptHook and ASILoader logs.

You just need to post the log from one session where it fails to load. Look at the timestamp down the left side and take a single session based on the times.

If you don't have any of those logs, then that could be your problem, do you have this installed?

  • Hey thanks for replying so quickly!

Okay I had the ScriptHookDotNet files in the GTA folder but as you said - no log.

I redownloaded the ScriptHookDotNet and put the files in once more. Now I've got a log. Good news and bad news - still failed to load but now I have some info.

[21:35:17] [DEBUG] Created script domain 'ScriptDomain_A7E18F1A' with v2.9.3.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

    Any ideas?

  • The log said the NativeUI file was not being found. It was there. So I deleted the NativeUI that came with ScriptHook and installed the one that comes with the MapEditor - it loads - so far so good.

Thanks for your help with this one - I was lost!

  • @asr You seem to be missing NativeUI, which should be included in the Map Editor download.

  • @asr LOL, I must type faster. :D Glad you got it sorted.

  • Yeah - thanks once again :D

  • @asr Just noticed what you said about NativeUI coming with scripthook. It's Native Trainer that comes with scripthook, not NativeUI... that might be what caused any confusion.

  • You're right. God knows what is happening to my head! Too many Natives. :D
