Turn 3D Models into Readable Objects for Blender
-
Hey folks,
So recently I wanted to start getting into the modding scene for GTA V and I've wanted to work on some vehicles and/or some clothing, however, a problem I've noticed which I've been able to solve in most other games (GMod, Battlefront 2, etc.) is that Rockstar likes to use its own texture and model files.
I am someone who likes to see what I'm doing when texturing and applying liveries, etc. - For example I love using Substance Painter, one of my favourite programs.
Does anyone know any way I'm able to take the YTF, YDD files, etc. and turn them into models readable by blender like an obj, etc.
Thanks heaps, I appreciate any response.

you need zmodeler3 for the conversion. import the yft (never tested the other file formats so idk about them) and export it as dae
