Can you have two GTA V installed with different mods?
-
Hi guys, I have a version of GTA V with a lot of mods that works great. But I would like to enjoy the Liberty City mod, which if I install many other MLOs, they disappear.
I think it's obvious, as the game can't load that much texture or objects.
So I wonder if it is possible to have a GTA V like I have it, and another with the Liberty City mod exclusively.
Or are there files that are shared and you could have problems?

Yes you can have a steam version and an epic version but then you need to maintain and update both. A very simple way to disable any mod or script or addon is to rename the file in windows explorer. This can also be done automatically as a batch file or powershell file. Finally there are some mods can do that for users who need lots of help.

@JohnFromGWN Thanks a lot friend! I have the version of the Rockstar launcher.
If I copy the entire game folder, put it in another path and rename it, would it work?

@Fabito48hd how would the launcher know which one to launch? Im on steam and don't see how that would be possible with steam also, not without some trickery behind the scenes.

@JohnFromGWN I know
That's why I was wondering if the option existed without having to have two GTA Vs purchased on different platforms.
Thanks a lot friend.

@Fabito48hd pretty sure u can't. So rename files to keep them from loading, download a mod to do it for you, or purchase game on steam which is priced low now.
