Enabling MP Maps through TrainerV/Menyoo causes a Packfile error

  • Every time I try enabling MP Maps, whether it's TrainerV or Menyoo, it crashes my game instantly and shows a packfile error. I don't remember ever editing one of the online DLCs and I made sure that I had every DLC. This has been happening since the Tuners update so I think it may have something to do with that but I can't find what the problem is. I checked my Scripthook log and found this line as well:

[15:51:35] CORE: An exception occurred while executing 'TrainerV.asi' (0x00007FF84C1A2560), id 41

If someone can help me fix this, it would be appreciated.

  • @CybershadeSR you didn't say whether you have a packfile limit adjuster installed and the error message clearly points in that direction.

If you do have it installed, trying changing your gameconfig, update it or change the mod completely. There is also a new version of Menyoo. Make sure Simple Trainer is updated too since thats what you have in your error message.

    Use this one
    https://github.com/MAFINS/MenyooSP/releases

P.s. i never had to use a packfile mod until the last update broke my configuration, and unlike you i never got any error message, game would just infinitely stay on load screen.

  • Oh, I didn't know that Menyoo got updated. I'm almost certain that my Simple Trainer is updated because I'm usually consistent with that. I'm using one of F7YO's gameconfigs and I know that is up to date. I already sorted out my packfile adjuster a while ago and I remember having this problem even before that. I'll update Menyoo and see what happens.

  • Still got the same error.

"ERR_FIL_PACK_1" along with the same line in my Scripthook log.

  • @CybershadeSR That was too easy, right? I did some googling and it might be due to a mod conflict. How about you rename a few of the last mods you installed and try to run the game, you don't have to make any changes to dlclist.xml.

The other thing could be to change to dilapidated's gameconfig. I had to after the update because my game no longer loaded with the one you are using now.
