  • He's asking how to remove ugly rings around street lights at night in case someone has a solution.

  • @Bremus
Show us a few screenshots of the ugly streetlight ring effect

Not sure what you mean by "erreur serveur", but if you can see it on your screen, you can take a screenshot of it

You then upload the screenshot to a picture site:
    https://www.tomsguide.com/uk/best-picks/best-photography-sites
& post the links here. Or just upload them as files to somewhere like https://www.mediafire.com/, post the links & I'll download them & view them.

    @a63nt-5m1th
I asked what he is playing because I have trouble understanding how hitting PrintScreen or F12 will cause a server error. I've never seen a server error in SP, so wondering if it is MP? Also, if he is using a third party screen capture tool it might be using a strange hot key, but again causing a server error? seriously? Unless he's telling you that the server is down and he can't play at this time.

  • @Bremus
Not sure exactly what is causing that, but upload your 'mods' folder 'visualsettings.dat':

    ...Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\visualsettings.dat

    & your 'mods' folder 'graphics.ytd':

    ...Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\graphics.ytd

to somewhere like https://www.mediafire.com/ & I'll test them out in my game, see if I get the same effect etc

  • @Bremus
    No probs

Doesn't appear to be anything in those files, send me your 'timecycle' folder & eveything in it next

    ...Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\timecycle

  • @Aurora11 non

  • @Bremus
So we've ruled out visualsettings.dat/graphics.ytd/all timecycle files. I installed all your files at the same time as well as testing individually & no glowing ball streetlights for me.

    • Do you have ENB installed? (send me your 'enblocal.ini' & 'enbseries.ini' if so. Also test disabling ENB in-game & see if the effect goes away)

    • Have you, or a mod you have installed, ever edited any of the streetlights in 'v_traffic_lights.rpf'?

    ...Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64h.rpf\levels\gta5\props\roadside\v_traffic_lights.rpf

Send me your 'v_traffic_lights.rpf' anyway, even if not edited, just in case there is some sort of error in it etc.

If no 'x64h.rpf' in your 'mods' folder, send me the one from here instead:

    ...Grand Theft Auto V\x64h.rpf\levels\gta5\props\roadside\v_traffic_lights.rpf

    Additional Questions:

    • Does it affect all streetlights or just some?
    • What visual mods do you have installed? (VisualV, NVR, any ENB/Reshade etc. List anything that affects visuals )
    • When did it start happening? What mods had you installed recently before that?
    • If you rename your 'mods' folder to something else temporarily (rename it back after) & load the game, are there still glowing ball streetlights?

  • @a63nt-5m1th je me suis refais un jeux vanilla a partir des fichiers du répertoire principale et ca me fait toujours pareil
    bizarre

  • @Bremus

    • Was ENB or Reshade active at the same time or disabled? If enabled, try disabled.
    • Any scripts installed? If so, try renaming 'scripts' folder temporarily & test again.
    • Try verifying integrity of your vanilla files & download new ones if needed.

  • @a63nt-5m1th This reminds me of my debris particles. :(

@a63nt-5m1th I wrote to spare you google translate, unless one of your additional talents is french fluency, that his game files might be corrupt as well so to do a verify integrity as you suggested to rule that out, as well as diabling scripts and asi/dlls.

  • Just for comparison sake, this is what mine look like. Wonder if it could be in ingame visual settings?

  • cela venais de directx 10.1

  • @Bremus said in please help me:

    cela venais de directx 10.1

Setting game to dx11 fixed it?

  • @Bremus c'est réparé? changé pour 11 ?

  • oui

  • @Bremus
Cheers, thanks for letting us know  (Good find, I would have never guessed it was DX10.1)
