Adding Car Tuning Parts
-
Hi, so I need help with something and that is how to install car addon modifications like I installed a car but now I want to add wheels for that specific car or other mod parts. So how to do that? I have the yft files (https://gyazo.com/1a1c831e9996fedd3ec88493f19b3768),
where do I put them? Please help me

@Tanjim15272 look at how the other addon car mods with tuning parts (or vanilla cars) are assembled. there should be a folder called "vehiclemods" in dlcpack > car name > dlc.rpf > x64.
In the vehiclemods folder, there should be an rpf folder called "car name_mods.rpf" and this is where the yft files of tuning parts reside.
Finally, you should add the entries that define the tuning parts in carcols.meta. again, take a look at how it's done in other addon mods or look up on how to set them up. it takes a while to understand how it works.
as for addon wheels, i can't help as i've never done them.

Can you gimme 2-3 cars with addon tuning parts, please? I tried to find some but couldn't :| If I get 2-3 of those, then I think I can figure out

@Tanjim15272 Did you get instructions with the mod? Go into OpenIV and search for _mods.rpf. I get over 700 hits to choose from. @drlq99 gave you the correct instructions.
You didn't mention if you are looking at vanilla, addon, or replacement. If you want a good addon example look at this one.
